The core of how FreelanCEO works is matching freelancers with potential clients who post projects.
When a client posts a project, they select a category and also particular skills needed for the project.
When a freelancer on FreelanCEO have set their skills and skill notifications, they will be notified when new projects are posted within those skill sets.
It is therefore critical for freelancers to complete their profile with their skill set and we’ll show you how.
How to choose your freelance skills
Once logged in, browse to your Account Settings using the menu on the left.
Scroll down to Your Skills and start typing. A dropdown box will appear below the skills field where you can select the skill matched with what you were typing. Just start typing again to select another skill.
If you’re not finding a particular skill, please make a suggestion in the suggestions box.
After selecting your skills, scroll down to Email Alerts. You need to select both categories and locations (if you’re bound by location) in order to receive notifications, else just select all locations if you’re a digital nomad like us!
